Outgoing IP Addresses

Overview

Varibill Source Collector jobs run within the Varibill cloud infrastructure.

When these jobs execute, they make outbound requests to external systems (such as APIs, databases, or secure environments) to retrieve usage and billing data.

To support secure integrations, these requests originate from a defined set of outgoing IP addresses. This allows customers to restrict access by configuring firewall allowlists.

Each Varibill region uses its own set of outgoing IP addresses.

Regions

Varibill operates infrastructure in multiple regions to provide reliability and performance:

  • Azure – South Africa North
  • Azure – UK South

South Africa Region

Description

Requests originating from Varibill services hosted in Azure – South Africa North use a fixed public IP prefix.

This ensures predictable outbound traffic for Source Collector jobs, allowing customers to allowlist a controlled range of IP addresses.

Outgoing IPs

CIDR Notation: IP Version 4

4.168.248.16/28

Subnet Mask

255.255.255.240

This represents a defined pool of IP addresses. Each Source Collector job execution will use an IP within this range.

United Kingdom Region

Description

Requests originating from Varibill services hosted in Azure – UK South use Microsoft-assigned outbound IP addresses.

These IPs are dynamic and may change over time.

Requesting a Static IP

If you require a static IP address or dedicated IP prefix for integration or firewall configuration purposes please reach out to support@varibill.com.

Note:

  • Outgoing IPs apply specifically to Source Collector job execution
  • These IPs are used for outbound communication only
  • Firewall allowlisting is recommended to restrict access to trusted sources
  • Using a defined IP range ensures predictable traffic and improves security configuration
