The easiest way to determine through which source each Client ID is collecting, would be to navigate to the Data Maintenance screen and then follow these steps:

  1. On the Data Maintenance screen, we suggest you group by "Batch Source" as this will make it easier to determine the source that the Client ID is linked to.
  2. You can then search for the Client IDs using either:
  • The Search bar

OR

  • By filtering the Client ID column (see screenshots below) - in order to open the filter option on the grid, right-click on the grid headers (i.e. on the Client ID header) and select "Filter Row". **Just ensure that you clear the filter once you are done** (Read more on the basics (filter, search, etc.) of Varibill)

Once you have completed your search, you will be able to determine the source (Source Collector / Contract Service / File Upload (which you will be able to determine via the Batch Source)) for each Client ID you have searched for.

It may happen that the client ID matches the contract number of the contract to which it is linked. This would normally be for Contract Services - but we would strongly suggest that you follow the above mentioned steps in all cases as it may not always be the case that a Client ID matching a contract number is always linked to a Contract Service. The reason for this could be because you may have used a contract number as the Client ID when importing billing data manually. If the billing records were created by a Contract Service, the Batch Source would be "Contract Services".
