I keep getting a Run-Time error when I try and refresh my report

If you are on Office 2013 or earlier you have two options:


Option 1: Upgrade your Microsoft Office to a later version (this is the preferred option).


Option 2: If you are unable to upgrade, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://docs.varibill.com/Reports 
  2. Follow the link to download the Power Query Add-In for Office 2013 (or lower)
  3. Once downloaded and installed in Excel, please download a report and try again. If the Power Query Add-In was installed, you will see an option on your Excel toolbar (the toolbar at the top of the screen when you open Excel) called "Power Query".


If you are on Office 2016, please refer to docs.varibill.com for possible resolutions.
